A restorative 4-week rhythm of breath, yin, acupressure, and guided sleepy meditation.

A Note from Debbie

I didn’t create Move and Deep Rest, to add more noise to your diary.
I created them because I know what it feels like to live in a body that is always just coping.

I’ve been teaching since 2002. I’ve trained in fitness, yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, yin, qi gong, acupressure, gua sha. I’ve helped hundreds of women stretch, breathe, and move.

And yet, I still found myself burned out.
Because I built my work around what I thought people wanted — drop-ins, flexibility, “just another class” — instead of what I knew actually created results.

The truth?
Dipping in and out doesn’t heal. Consistency does.

These classes are for the women who carry everything for everyone else.
Who’ve made caring for others their identity, but on the inside are running on fumes.
Who are stressed, anxious, overwhelmed — and secretly resent the body they’ve abandoned.

Move Well and Deep Rest are not workouts.
They are nervous system reset points.

  • No. Drop-ins don’t create results. Just like you wouldn’t expect the gym to “work” if you showed up once every few weeks, your nervous system can’t reset through random attendance. Consistency is what shifts your energy, your sleep, and your long-term wellbeing. I do however offer the option to attend 1 or 2 sessions per week over each block of 4.

  • That’s why I offer consecutive class passes and a membership option — you’re paying for your spot, not just the individual class. If you miss, you don’t “lose out” — your body still benefits from the rhythm of commitment, and you’ll return without feeling like you’re starting over.

  • Because real change doesn’t happen in a fortnight. Three months is long enough for your nervous system to build trust, for habits to embed, and for you to feel the benefits ripple into your day-to-day life.

  • Actually, this is for you. These sessions are built to meet you where you are, not push you into exhaustion. Think breath, gentle release, supported strength, nourishing rest. This is about rebuilding capacity, not burning it out further.

  • Just like a gym membership, your place remains open for you. I don’t pause memberships for time away — because the value is in the consistency and the commitment, not just the hours in class.

  • I’m not here to run another generic class. I bring 20+ years of expertise across fitness, yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, seasonal yin, acupressure, and nervous system recovery. These sessions are holistic, layered, and designed to support your whole self — not just exercise.

FAQs

Is it good for beginners?

Yes, its great for all levels. The movement practices, self care are all adaptable to meet you where your at and adapt to suit your lifestyle. Lots of modifications will be offered to build nourishing wellbeing habits that you can draw upon throughout the seasons.

What is the cancellation policy?

As these workshops involve pre ordering supplies, venue fees your place is refundable up to two weeks before the event, after refunds will not be available unless you can sell your space on to another person able to attend.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes all the venues I use have a car park and off street parking free to use. All we ask is that you are respectful to others when parking your car and ensure your not blocking entry or exits to other users or residents.

How to book?

These workshops can be booked individually or you can book for both parts. There are also gift vouchers available should you want to purchase this as a gift for a loved one.

Do I need to bring anything?

For the movement based session you will need a mat. All other equipment/props required are supplied and you will be advised of what we will be doing for each workshop should you want to bring along anything of your own.
