A Little Pause.
Press Pause. Unwind. Come Alive.
Sometimes you don’t need to get away. You just need everything to stop for a bit.
Maybe your head’s full.
Maybe your shoulders are somewhere around your ears.
Maybe everyone seems to need something from you.
Or maybe it’s only Tuesday and you’ve already had quite enough, thanks.
You don’t necessarily need a whole day or weekend away, well maybe you do but that’s just not realistic for everyday!
Let’s start with a little pause.
A few minutes at home. An hour after work. A couple of hours where someone else is in charge.
Choose what you need.

I need a Pause Right Now
The Pause Collection
10 Short guided practices for all the different versions of “I need a minute”
I didn’t sit down and think what ten wellbeing practices should I create?
These came from the things I’ve heard women say to me again and again over the years.
And, if I’m honest, quite a few things I’ve said myself.
“Everyone always needs something from me.”
“I just can’t shake the fog today.”
“I feel all over the place.”
“I’m knackered but my brain won’t switch off.”
“I didn’t realise how much I needed that.”
Sound familiar?
That’s why you don’t need to work out whether you need breathwork, movement, meditation, grounding or something else.
I’ve done that bit for you.
Just hit play on the title that sounds most like a bit of you on that day.
I’ll take it from there.
No programme to follow.
No deciding where to start.
No “you should do this three times a week for optimum results.”
Some days Everyone needs me will practically shout at you from the screen.
Another day it’ll be Ground Me
And sometimes you’ll take one look at End of the Day Hug and think yep, that’s exactly what I need right now.
That’s how it supposed to work.
Choose the one that sounds like today.
5-15 minutes later, get on with your life.
10 practices. 5-15 minutes. Yours to keep.

I need someone else to take over for a bit
Sometimes pressing play at home isn’t quite going to cut it.
You want to walk through a door, put your stuff down and know that for the next hour or two…
You don’t have to think about anything.
That’s Be Held.
Small, welcoming in-person experiences in York and Hull designed to help you step out of your head, soften what’s been building up in your body and properly switch off for a while.
Depending on the experience, I’ll bring together things like:
Breath.
Meditation.
Mindful Movement.
Rest.
Immersive Sound.
You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to have meditated before.
And you definitely don’t need to be “good” at relaxing.
You just need to turn up.
I’ll guide everything else.
