Frequently Asked Questions
I've never been to one of your experiences before. Will I fit in?Absolutely.
Many of the women who come along are attending for the very first time and often come on their own. My experiences are relaxed, welcoming and designed to help you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive.
Do I need any previous yoga or meditation experience? Not at all.
Everything I offer is suitable for beginners, and all movement is optional. You're encouraged to listen to your body and take everything at your own pace.
I'm not very flexible. Does that matter? Not one bit.
My experiences aren't about achieving perfect poses. They're about creating space to move, breathe and unwind in a way that feels right for you.
What should I wear?Anything comfortable that you can move and relax in.
For workshops and retreats, I recommend bringing a warm layer and cosy socks for the relaxation and sound experiences.
I'm pregnant. Can I still attend? Please get in touch before booking.
Some experiences and activities can be adapted, while others may not be suitable depending on your stage of pregnancy. If you're under 12 weeks pregnant, you'll need to seek advice from your healthcare professional before attending.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?Yes.
Please let me know about any allergies or dietary requirements when completing your pre-experience questionnaire so I can cater for you wherever possible.
What if an experience is cancelled?Occasionally an experience may need to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient numbers.
If this happens, you'll be offered the opportunity to transfer your booking to another date or receive credit in line with the Terms & Conditions.
What do I need to bring? For most workshops, everything you need is provided unless otherwise stated.
For day and overnight retreats, you'll receive a welcome email beforehand with everything you need to know, including what to bring.
I have a medical condition. Can I still attend? If you have a medical condition, injury or any concerns about whether an experience is suitable for you, please contact me before booking.
You'll also be asked to complete a pre-experience questionnaire so I can ensure you're supported as best as possible.
Can I book with a friend?Of course.
You're welcome to come on your own or book with friends or family. Some experiences also offer shared accommodation if you're attending a retreat together.
Can I take photographs during the experience? You're very welcome to take a few personal photographs respectfully.
As a small business, I may also take photographs or videos during experiences to help future guests see what to expect. You'll always be asked your preferences beforehand, and these will be respected.
Can I come on my own? Please do.
Many guests arrive on their own, and it's one of the things people worry about most before booking. You'll always receive a warm welcome, and by the end of the day it's not unusual to feel like you've spent time with old friends.
Are sound baths suitable for everyone? Most people can enjoy a sound experience, but they may not be suitable for everyone.
If you have epilepsy, a pacemaker, are in early pregnancy or have any concerns, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss whether it's suitable for you.
What if I need to cancel? Please see the full Terms & Conditions for details of my cancellation and transfer policy.
Where possible, I always try to be fair and offer transfers within the stated cancellation windows.
I still have a question.I'd love to hear from you.
